01

1. State the outcome

Begin with what you need to produce and who it is for. A concrete goal gives the model a better target than a broad topic.

02

2. Supply relevant context

Include constraints, definitions, examples, and source material that actually affect the task. Remove private details that are unnecessary.

03

3. Define the shape

Specify useful structure, length, tone, and acceptance criteria. Ask for assumptions and uncertainties when accuracy matters.

04

4. Iterate deliberately

Treat the first response as a draft. Point to specific weaknesses, request alternatives, and verify claims before using the result.
