01

1. Extract the claims

Break the answer into statements that could be true or false. Separate those from advice, predictions, interpretations, and value judgments.

02

2. Trace the evidence

Ask for primary sources and open them. Confirm that each source exists, says what the answer claims, and applies to the relevant date and jurisdiction.

03

3. Search for disproof

Ask what evidence would change the conclusion and seek the strongest credible opposing case. Reliable analysis should survive more than supportive evidence.

04

4. Decide proportionally

Match verification effort to possible harm. A dinner suggestion needs little checking; medical, legal, financial, civic, and security decisions require independent expertise.
